Kress Corner project groundbreaking / by Phillip Guyton

Big things are happening downtown!
I had the opportunity to get a shot of the wheels in motion firsthand Wed evening at the ground breaking ceremony for the Kress Corner project downtown.
The Florence Kress was designed by Seymour Burrell and built in 1915, it's been vacnet for some time, but now a group of 5 entrepreneurs are making it into
50,000 sq ft of apartments, shops, offices, and a rooftop terrace!  I feel like Florence's downtown is evolving nicely and it's a great time to be here and involved in documenting it.
